Located 90 miles north of Atlanta and an easy drive from Nashville and Charlotte, Blue Ridge is the kind of place that lets you escape from it all. Here in the Appalachian foothills, you can hike, bike, fish and chase waterfalls among lush mountains that take on a blue-ish hue from afar. The Toccoa River is great for kayaking, tubing and canoeing while whitewater rafting adventures abound on the Ocoee River a bit further north. Over at Lake Blue Ridge, pontoon boats and paddle boards are available for lazy days at the lake. And when you want to pick it up a notch, you can zipline among trees or tackle an aerial obstacle course at Blue Ridge Adventure Park. The town of Blue Ridge is an artsy destination with quaint shops, antique stores, art galleries, restaurants and craft breweries. We especially love Bin 322 for tapas and wine, as well as Harvest on Main which sources regional ingredients for its Southern cuisine. Right from town, jump on the historic Blue Ridge Scenic Railway which follows the Toccoa River north to the old copper mining town of McCaysville. Eat and shop along the scenic riverwalk or head to Deep Roots Orchard for picnics, wagon rides and campfire cookouts. FOREST DECKS The backyard is a woodland dream with leafy trees everywhere you turn. Our two covered decks invite you to relax and take in all the Appalachia beauty around you. And no houses are visible from the decks – just the woods await you. The upper deck has an outdoor living room with cushioned furniture, a hanging egg chair and a grand stone fireplace with a smart TV. The deck also offers a BBQ grill and farmhouse table where you can linger over picnic lunches and Southern-style cookouts. Two gray rocking chairs offer an old-school way to marvel at the enchanting view before you. On the lower deck, a roomy hot tub (it seats 6 people) is the ultimate place to unwind after a day of adventuring. You can also kick back among 6 Adirondack chairs as you share stories from your day. And once night falls, hanging string lights cast a soft, magical glow over both decks. Take in a deep breath and let out an “Aaaaah.” This is the good life. Enjoy our fire pit that’s made for campfire stories and gooey s’mores. OPEN LIVING, KITCHEN & DINING AREAS Our open-concept living room, kitchen and dining area evoke a treehouse that’s all grown up. One with knotty pine walls and ceilings plus a window wall with treetop views. The living room opens to the upper deck and is where you’ll want to cozy up among comfy furniture and another beautiful stone fireplace. The contemporary blue couch offers a queen-size pull-out sleeper sofa. The kitchen is our favorite part of the house, complete with blue-gray cabinets, a stone backsplash and marbled granite countertops. An iron chandelier pulls together the lovely farmhouse feel of the entire space. Use the Keurig Duo machine to brew fresh single-serve coffee (8 complimentary K-Cups provided) or brew a whole drip pot for your group. And with stainless steel appliances, a fully-stocked kitchen, and cookware aplenty, you’ll have what you need to make everything from stovetop popcorn to Sunday supper (we even offer a spice rack, kids dish sets, and dishwasher pods). An island offers even more counter space and 3 stools where you can saddle up for a pancake breakfast. And a farmhouse dining table which seats 6 people is just steps away. REC ROOM A rec room on the downstairs floor comes with a lot of fun amenities. A cozy den with oversized arm chairs and ottomans is accompanied by a wet bar, video games and digital board games. A retro striped wallpaper mural on one wall lends a ‘70s vibe to the entire room. And the games are equally throwback. A Pong game table has eight classic Atari video games – from the landmark Pong to Tempest and Super Breakout – that up to 4 people can play. With our Infinity Game Table, you can play digital versions of your favorite board games: Monopoly, Scrabble, Yahtzee, Candy Land, Battleship, Chutes and Ladders, chess, checkers and over 200 more. When the time comes for a screen break, sliding glass doors open to the fresh air of the lower deck where you can de-stress in the hot tub. 3 BEDROOMS Our three bedrooms are peaceful retreats with large picture windows and forest views. All 3 rooms offer glass doors that open to the decks. You’ll find rocking or Adirondack chairs outside your room which are great for morning coffee or a nightcap before bed. White-washed and reclaimed wood furniture is joined by country bedding in soothing hues of white, gray and blue. There are also Roku smart TVs in every room (bring your own logins). The bunk bed room also includes an NBA Jam arcade. Bedroom 1 – King bed (master) upstairs, en suite bathroom Bedroom 2 – King bed downstairs Bedroom 3 – Twin bunk beds (2 beds) downstairs Including the queen sofa bed in the living room, our cabin sleeps up to 8 guests. 4 BATHROOMS A powder room and beautiful master bathroom on the main floor are joined by 2 full bathrooms downstairs. Features like rustic cabinets, granite countertops and slate-lined showers (two are walk-in) will make you feel good as you go through your self-care routine. The full bathrooms also have amenity kits with these toiletries: soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin in Mineral Bluff. It was private, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful — the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was great because it felt tucked away, but it was still just a short drive to Blue Ridge. We loved exploring the town with its charming shops, great restaurants, and some really good coffee and tea spots. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway and we would definitely stay again!

We’ve stayed in several different homes in the Blue Ridge area and this did not disappoint. Very peaceful and quiet. House and furnishings were just as advertised! Easy drive to all of the area hotspots. Love the paved driveway! 🙂 We would stay here again with extended family. We discovered a nearby upscale restaurant at the Old Toccoa Farm country club. Really nice.

My husband, fur child, and I stayed 5-6 days and I wish I booked for a few days longer. This place is exactly as shown and described & has everything that you think you'll need in the kitchen. The weather decided to drop for the first few days of our stay so we decided to mainly stay in and I can't express enough how much we enjoyed just lounging around, watching tv, playing the games and taking in the views. Was able to enjoy the hot tub towards the end. Lexis checked in just enough and I literally had no reason to reach out, everything went smoothly. We will be sure to come back to enjoy once it warms up a little bit.

The cabin is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked. There is a crockpot and a fancy microwave with lots of options, from air frying to regular microwave use. The master bedroom with bathroom is cozy and comfortable. Just a note if you have a bigger/older pup. The stairs are kind of steep for older four legged friends. We took him downstairs with a leash a couple times. He got the hang of it and did just fine. We have hardwood floors, so we brought his gripper socks. Speaking of downstairs. So comfy and relaxing. If you have a telescope, bring it, you’ll be glad you did. We work remotely. There are several places to spread out. The wi-fi is great. A family of deer visited in the distance on a few mornings. Lexis is a great host. Check in was super easy. Lexis was communicative and answered quickly. Another dog note. Renting dog friendly can be a hit or miss. This cabin was exceptionally clean with no dog smell, or any other issues! Lastly, visit Mercier Orchards and get a fried pie!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin in Mineral Bluff. Our host, Lexis, was quick to respond and incredibly helpful, answering every question we had with kindness and care. From the moment we arrived, the cabin felt inviting, warm, and cozy. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas/winter, which made the experience feel extra special...truly perfect in every way. The view was exactly what we were hoping for: surrounded by trees with a mountain in the distance. Watching the sun go down while relaxing in the hot tub was unforgettable. Lexis’s attention to detail really stood out as everything was thoughtfully prepared, clean, and comfortable, making us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and memorable stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -Lisa M

The place is absolutely stunning, lots of outdoor activities, which is just what we were looking for on our getaway. As for the host, she was a pleasure to work with. We had a bit of a bump in the road with our trip and needed to change the dates and she was beyond understanding and gave grace, we are thankful for people like this.
